Maia Williams, also known as “Crown”, is executive assistant to many different businesses, artists, and events in the Metro Detroit area. In this interview we talk about her being a “midwife to creatives” through her work with the Black Speculative Arts Movement and Midwest Ethnic Convention for Comics and Arts. We talk about the importance of media that represents POC and the impact of that. As well as how she does ALL THE THINGS and juggles that with being a mother and her own personal life.
Her latest event is the Black Speculative Arts Movement (BSAM) in Atlanta, February 10th.
